Bob Seger and The Silver Bullett Band

The Palace of Auburn Hills long history of presenting concerts comes to an end on September 23, with Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band. This will be the 17th show for Bob at The Palace and with a sellout, it will set the record for the most at the venue.

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will return to DTE Energy Music Theatre for one night only on Saturday, September 9. The show will be the first time since June 21, 1996 that Seger has played Pine Knob and marks his 27th appearance at the historic venue.

The official press release reads like this…Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band announced today new dates extending their 2014 / 2015 Ride Out Tour. New cities added are Indianapolis, Kansas City, Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Salt Lake City and Deeeeetroit!!!

Great news Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are getting ready to hit the highway in support the new album Ride Out, that’s coming out on October 14th. The first gig is on November 19th in Saginaw at The Dow Event Center

This week in 1979, Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll" hit the charts and would make it up to #28. The song came back on the scene in 1983, when it was featured in the movie "Risky Business", starring Tom Cruise.

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band’s “Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour” is adding more shows to the schedule including a second performance at The Palace of Auburn Hills on April 13th   with tickets going on sale March 2nd.  Joe Walsh will be opening both nights for Bob.
