Crosby Stills & Nash

Crosby, Stills & Nash will give fans an encore of their critically acclaimed 2012 tour this spring and summer, although you may need to travel to see the trio play. The rockers have announced 23 shows for 2013, including 13 in the southeastern United States and 10 in Europe.

David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have been through a lot over the years -- both as solo artists and together as Crosby, Stills & Nash. And while their history has often been turbulent, it's also been loaded with harmony, as they persuasively demonstrated during an epic three-hour concert last night (Oct. 23).

Crosby, Stills & Nash are joining Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello for a concert in Los Angeles next month, with a purpose of defeating California Proposition 32. The Oct. 3 show at the Nokia Theater will feature guest speakers between sets, and promises to include thousands of members of organized labor.

The 1977 CSN album that did so well for Crosby, Stills & Nash has mysteriously went MIA.  This was a huge hit album then, but for some reason or another, radio has dropped it from their playlists over the years, and now is relegated to special programming like the Vinyl Vault.  ...

Back to the summer of 1969 and an album considered by many classic rock fans as one of the best ever recorded, the first Crosby, Stills & Nash set.  Not only did it introduce these three immense talents to the world, but helped change the landscape of music in the late 1960's.  ...

Browne and Crosby Stills and Nash perform for a cause later this summer.  According to RollingStone.com, the veteran acts will play shows in California to benefit Musicians United for Safe Energy.

I've always loved hearing how certain artists cover other artists songs.  Joe Cocker is probably the covers king, but there are several others.  Crosby, Stills & Nash isn't one of them!  It will be interesting to see what they do, on what.  ...
