Dick Wagner

I came in this morning to see the sad news that Dick Wagner guitar great and a cool dude died yesterday. A few years ago I had the chance to meet Dick when he came to the station to do an interview with me. At the time he was making an appearance at Lenny Millers in Dryden.

Alice Cooper has issued a statement in tribute to his late collaborator Dick Wagner, who died today.

Legendary guitarist Dick Wagner needs our prayers right now. Dick is in the hospital recovering from heart surgery. He was admitted last week after complaining of breathing problems and later underwent surgery to 'clean up' an artery.

After a health scare or two it's good to see Mr. Dick Wagner working again.  He was involved with his old friend Alice Cooper's Welcome To My Nightmare sequel and has been doing some successful club dates in and around the area.  Today, it's back to 1969, when his act The Frost was the word...
