More than $200,000 in federal funding is headed to the Flushing Police Department for patrol vehicles, equipment, and school resource officers.

Malissa Odegaard and Abigail Locklear, both 13 years old, were last seen on Wednesday evening, December 17, 2025, in the Flushing and Mt. Morris areas.

Both Mt. Morris and Flushing schools are done with cell phones in class. Starting this year, students will have to keep them powered off and out of sight.
