Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to Courthouse Square tonight for the second concert of the Downtown Lapeer Summer Concert Series from 6 PM – 8 PM featuring Now A Daze. You’ll hear a nice blend of happy, feel-good reggae/ska and high energy, jump-around punk rock with some folk and alternative rock thrown in.

Art On Nepessing Street, a celebration of the arts and annual fundraising event is being presented by The Center for the Arts of Greater Lapeer, (Gallery 194 and The PIX Theatre) and the Downtown Business Association today (5/15) and tomorrow (5/16). Thirty seven artists have generously donated not only their art, but also their time and effort in creating this year’s event.

It’s here strawberry season and time to enjoy some delicious locally grown Michigan strawberries. Stop by the Lapeer Farmers Market on Nepessing Street next Saturday (6/28) from 9am until 3pm for the Strawberry Festival. Free strawberry shortcake starting at 11am.

Prepare yourself for some Halloween fun in downtown Lapeer this Saturday (10/26). The Lapeer Downtown Business Association presents their annual Fall Celebration with activities running from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
