Lapeer High School Lightning football team wrapped up the regular season with another victory beating Davison 47 to 7. The first play off game is Friday night at Lapeer with the Lightning taking on the Cardinals again.The Lightning Fans showed their support at Friday nights game in Davison becoming the largest visiting crowd on record.
Lapeer Stays Undefeated Survives Carman-Ainsworth 21-14
A real nail bitter came down to the last minutes of the game for a Lightning win. Flint Carman-Ainsworth gave the Lightning a run for its money once again but Lapeer (8-0) still managed a win on Friday. Lapeer will go up against the Davison Cardinals next as the Lightning eyes its second-straight undefeated season.
Lapeer Beats Midland 49-21
The Lapeer Lightning came out on top when the two best teams in the Saginaw Valley League faced-off at Midland Community Stadium on Friday. With the win over the Midland, Lapeer clinches at least a share of the SVL Red Division title.
