Man wins jackpot, dies 23 days later.

Yesterday I posted about a Fenton man who won the lottery. Maybe I will soon be writing about you winning $248 million tonight! This is the highest jackpot yet for 2017.

In May it was reported that a winning lottery ticket had been purchased at Smitty's Exit 80 in Fenton. Now we know who bought it - kind of.

If you bought a lotto ticket recently from Smitty's Exit 80 Sunoco station in Fenton, you better check it! Someone hit all six numbers in last Wednesday's Classic Lotto 47 game, but has yet to claim the prize money - $4.35 million dollars.

A Powerball ticket sold in Michigan was just one number away from winning over $205 Million.

With no winner on Wednesday's drawing, the Powerball jackpot is now at over $350 million.

Three winning tickets will split the record $1.5 Billion Powerball jackpot, but none of the tickets were sold in Michigan. That doesn't mean that a few people in Michigan didn't wake up very happy Thursday morning.
