And while original star Mel Gibson has been replaced by Tom Hardy, director George Miller is present and accounted for, still wrecking cars in the post-apocalypse for your amusement. The newest trailer for the Fury Road, labeled the “legacy trailer,” uses footage from the past films build up to the newest entry to remind potential viewers this isn’t just another action franchise. This is Mad freaking Max.

It's been rumored for some time now, but it's now official: the great(ly troubled) Mel Gibson has joined the cast of 'The Expendables 3,' where he'll play the main bad guy. He's also being joined by Antonio Banderas, another fading star who has been rumored to join the film for quite some time.

With 'The Expendables 3' already casting every washed-up actor in the history of ever, it should come as no surprise that Sylvester Stallone is apparently courting Mel Gibson. It's a development that Stallone has teased before, but now the Oscar-winning actor and director is rumored to have signed on to the project in a crucial role.

I may have just lost all faith in Hollywood!  Just watched the trailer for Mel Gibson's new movie "The Beaver."  Please tell me this is a sick joke!
