National Dog Day

National Dog Day is a celebration to show our love for these beautiful creatures. The day also serves to help to draw the public’s attention to the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year, and acknowledges family dogs and dogs that work selflessly each day to save lives keep us safe and bring comfort.

Today is the day set aside to honor man’s best friend the Dog. It’s National Dog Day, a day that encourages adopting from shelters, as well as celebrating dogs in general.
