The Physical Graffiti album in 1975 came as a surprise to most Led Zeppelin fans with it's longer moodier tunes and uneven texture, but a good surprise to most, ending up being a megahit for the band. An odd collection of new songs along with older songs they didn't use on previous albums, it makes for one of their more interesting offerings...

Not too often does Physical Graffiti come into play so it's refreshing when it does ... like on today's Vinyl Vault! Being a double album it's full of Zep treasures like "The Wanton Song", which never really got airplay to speak of, but hey, it's Zeppelin...
