Rain

Believe it or not, harvesting rainwater in some states is frowned upon.

After weeks of temperatures between the high-80's and 90's, we finally are blessed with rain, glorious rain! But when was the rain record in Michigan set?

I promise I will never complain about the heat again.

It looks like the predictions we often about hear about California breaking off into the ocean someday may not be far off. On Sunday, a stretch of road in the Los Angeles area slid into the ocean after heavy rains.

Our basement drain showed us it's contents yesterday.  Yummy looking thick black sludge with the pleasant aroma of rotten eggs and ... goat butt.  Mmmm.  The sump pump turns on every 45 seconds around the clock.  The dehumidifier is running constantly down there...
