Learn an old-fashioned way of decorating Easter eggs in Botanical Easter Eggs at Seven Ponds Nature Center tomorrow (3/28) from 10 AM – 12 PM. Wrapped in flowers and leaves and soaked in a natural dye, creating these beautiful eggs are sure to become a yearly tradition. Pre-registration is required. Ages 12

Canoe Clinic – Canvassing the Wood and Canvas Canoe is happening at Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden this Saturday March 28, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.The clinic instructor, Dave Wermuth, is a life time resident of Lapeer. Dave is a member of The Wooden Canoe Heritage Association and has been a wooden canoe owner since 1997. Dave has restored about 20 canoes, some over 100 years old.

Each season brings its own form of beauty at Seven Ponds Nature Center. Greet the Snow Moon of February while walking the center’s snow-covered trails tonight  (2/7) from 7 PM to 9 PM. Look and listen for signs of wildlife along the way and end your walk around a cozy fire. The fee for this program is $5 per person, $3 for members.
