Head over to Seven Ponds Nature Center today (4/15) at 1 PM and help ready the Woodland Wildflower Area for the beautiful array of blossoms that will soon be coming our way and fulfill Master Gardener Hours at the same time.
Children 4-10 years old and their adults are invited to be escorted along a lit trail in the woods and meet creatures of the nighttime forest in a fun and educational experience in The Enchanted Woodland at Seven Ponds on October 4 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
A couple of events this Sunday for the neighborhood children. First stop the Lapeer V.F.W. Post on Daley Road just off M-24, Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny visit. Registration begins 10am and the Easter Egg Hunt at 11am.
Saturday, October 5th, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden, is holding its second annual “Enchanted Woodland”. A fun-filled evening of activities geared for children ages 4-10 years old and their adults.
Seven Ponds Nature Center’s 37th annual Heritage Harvest Days is happening Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival is a longtime favorite with many in the community and is known for its family friendly atmosphere and a wide range of activities.
Seven Ponds Nature Center offers many opportunities to discover the wonders of the natural world. At 7:30 AM on Wednesday, June 5, the center will host Spring Bird Walk #4 at the Lapeer State Game Area. Both woodland and open habitats will be visited in search of nesting species, especially sparrows.
Do you have children who love nature or children who love to explore the out-of-doors and have fun? Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden is the place for them. They offer Summer Field School for ages 2 - 15 years old.
Now through Sunday, May 5th. Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden, presents the exhibit “Fossils of the Michigan Basin”. This traveling exhibit goes back 350 million years when Michigan was under an ancient salt water sea.
This Saturday, February 2, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. enjoy the “Hard Shell Gourds Workshop” at the Seven Ponds Nature Center on Crawford Road in Dryden. Learn everything from growing and drying gourds, cleaning out the gourd, to different techniques for decorating gourds. You’ll get to make your own beautiful piece of gourd art.
