Stone Soup Food Pantry

The Stone Soup Food Pantry will be out in the neighborhood today and tomorrow at different intersections. Also in front of Kroger and Big Lots in Lapeer and the Capac Bank in Imlay City. Walk for Warmth Soup Cook Off & Talent Show at the Lapeer Center Building today (11/08) from 5pm until 7:30pm.

Coming up this Sunday (9/15) at Castle Creek Golf Club in Lum be part of the “Project Raising Hope Golf Outing” in collaboration with Lapeer County FFA and Stone Soup Food Pantry. Project Raising HOPE provides food for families in need while educating and training Agriscience and disabled students.

Lapeer County FFA is doing a fundraiser for Project Raising HOPE today and Saturday from 9am - 3pm. The FFA will be collecting money at the intersection of M-21 and Lake Pleasant Road. Their also collecting money in downtown Lapeer, and at the Imlay City and Lapeer TSC stores.

Eagle Riders of Lapeer in support of the Stone Soup Food Pantry present their 2nd Annual Motorcycle & Car Show on Saturday(6/29). The show will runs from 12 noon until 4pm in the parking lot west of the courthouse in downtown Lapeer.

Time to get ready for the duck race that benefits the Stone Soup Food Pantry in Lapeer. We’re talking about the 2nd annual Duck Derby on the Flint River in Crampton Park the date is Saturday August 17th.

The Stone Soup Food Pantry in Lapeer has fundraisers that are happening for Hunger Awareness Week: May 10 and May 11, volunteers will be out at various intersections throughout Lapeer. Also on Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11, volunteers will be at ShopKo in Imlay City, Starbucks in Lapeer, and at Big Lots in Lapeer.
