Alvin Lee, the virtuoso guitarist and singer of Ten Years After, has died at the age of 68 according to a message posted by his family to his official website this morning (March 6).

Any rock fan from the late 60's and early 70's (like me) would know all about Ten Years After. Alvin Lee and crew were one of the top concert draws from that period thanks to that unforgettable Woodstock appearance and of course, Lee's lightning fast guitar work on many great albums that still hold up today...
