The Best 20 Second Songs to Wash Your Hands To

The coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to quickly spread, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have been sharing with the public all kinds of ways for people to prevent spreading it. Of course one of the easiest and most practical is simply washing your hands,  and doing so for 20 seconds. The CDC has suggested singing "Happy Birthday", twice, as an easy way to time it out, but we're a radio station....and that just won't work for us. Here's a few songs that will  help you get the job done and won't leave you with that birthday tune stuck in your head.

Lizzo, “Truth Hurts”: It has a chorus that's about 20 seconds long and let's face it, most of us just love singing it.

Star Wars  "Imperial March": Because we know for sure this will take hand washing to a whole new level, and if done right will give you the 20 seconds of intergalactic clean you desire. And yes....you hum this one. Duh.

Prince, “Raspberry Beret”: The Prince classic from 1985 may have you dancing while you wash, but it gets the job done with just one chorus.
