Bruce Springstein opened his show in Brooklyn with 'Purple Rain' instead of the usual The River Tour opener 'Meet Me in the City.' Flooded in purple light, Springsteen told the audience “Whenever I saw Prince, I left the show humbled” and concluded with “Prince Forever.
