The King Of Nachos
The city of Lawrence, Kansas, can officially call itself the "Nacho Capital of the World." The city served up the world's largest plate of nachos Saturday at the Kansas Relays. Coming in at a gut-wrenching 46-hundred pounds and 80-feet long, the "Guinness Book of World Records" confirmed the Lawrence-made nachos put to shame the previous record of 39-hundred pounds of nachos made in Massachusetts. In the end only 70-percent of the nachos were served over the weekend because a special cooler designed to keep them edible broke down. Bummer.
