Catch a glimpse of the roots of Motown music, have a Motown Review flashback or take a trip down memory lane with The Prolifics at The Pix Theatre this Saturday, March 10 (3/10), at 7:30 PM.
The story of The Prolifics begins with five young men singing a cappella on the street corners of the eastside of Detroit and continues today with vocal harmonies, timed-choreography and high energy performances of a repertoire of the music and the groups that are the legacy of Motown. The Prolifics play the music and copy the style of Motown and Philadelphia Sound legends The Temptations, The Spinners, The Four Tops, The Dells, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, The Jackson Five, The Contours, The Drifters, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The O'Jays, The Dramatics, Stevie Wonder and Barry White.
