There Was a Bee Symposium at Mott Community College — It Was the Bees-Knees [VIDEO]
You like bee puns? Good. If not, it would've been a real buzz kill.
I have been toying with the idea of becoming a beekeeper recently and I wanted to learn more. I found on Facebook an event that was right up my alley, the 2017 Bee Symposium hosted by Applewood Estate held at Mott Community College.
I was able to see a real, active hive. Learned about the equipment that is needed to properly take care of a hive and what type of products I could create. There were booths dedicated to plants and flowers that are helpful to honey bees, and a whole festival in Frankenmuth that is all about bees.
I also learned that I can throw down some serious bee related puns. They were un-bee-lievable. If you don't like 'em, buzz off!
