New Tide Ad Has Some Fun With Debate Over Gay Marriage

Tide, known for cleaning clothes, has jumped into the gay marriage debate.

While gay marriage is legal, it remains a hot button issue (thanks to people like Kim Davis), so Tide -- yes, Tide! -- has decided to join the fray with this tongue-in-cheek spot.

No matter where you stand on the issue, you can't argue this commercial doesn't capture your attention.

Kudos to the detergent for managing to tackle such a divisive topic in a humorous way without alienating anyone (although with a subject like this, we can imagine someone may be offended).

Of course, Tide has addressed homosexuality before, too. Back in 2014, it ran this commercial, in Canada, with a gay couple.
