Tigers Win Two in a Row

The Detroit Tigers won their second game in a row last night, this time in the series opener against the Kansas City Royals.  The final score:  Tigers 3 – Royals 1.  Starter Max Scherzer pitched a strong 6 & 2/3 innings giving up six hits and one earned run.  Ryan Raburn provided all the offenses the Tigers needed when he hit a two-run homer in the second inning.  Rick Porcello takes the mound for the Tigers tonight in KC.
