As of now, if you are under 21 and want to purchase tobacco in Genesee County - you have 90 days to do so.

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says this goes against a state law from 1972 that claims the age of majority is 18 years of age. However, the Genesee County Board of Commissioners apparently sees things differently. Reports indicate they voted to pass a resolution that prevents the sale of tobacco produces to anyone under 21. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. What are your thoughts?
