Tribute To Hank Williams At Lapeer Elks Lodge

The Lapeer Elks Lodge will host a tribute to Hank Williams on Sunday, September 16, at 7 PM featuring tribute artist Alvin Anders. Doors open at 6 PM. Tribute To Hank Williams is part of The Star Salute Fall Lineup presented by Gary Dixon.

Williams was known as "The King of Country Music" and had 11 number one country hits in his career ("Lovesick Blues", "Long Gone Lonesome Blues", "Why Don't You Love Me", "Moanin' the Blues", "Cold, Cold Heart", "Hey, Good Lookin'", "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)", "I'll Never Get Out of This World Alive", "Kaw-Liga", "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "Take These Chains from My Heart") as well as many other top ten hits.
