U.S. Government: Marijuana Kills Cancer

Humans are interesting creatures, and there are two major types of human beings. There are the ones who are driven by greed and self-gratification, and then there are those who strive to make a better world for everyone.

While you would like to think that those in the pharmaceutical and medical field are here to help you, sadly most of them are not. As a matter of fact, the last thing they want are remedies and cures. Why? They don't make off of healthy people. They make their money by treating people with their products that don't fix the problem, just mask the symptoms.

Since the 70s, the government has stressed that marijuana has 'absolutely no medicinal effect or value for humans'. It boggles my mind that weed was put in the same category as heroin! Fast forward thirty-some years to today and the government is saying something else!

According to a recent report published on cancer.gov, marijuana can treat and even kill cancer cells. Here is a direct quite from the government site:

• A laboratory study of delta-9-THC in hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) cells showed that it damaged or killed the cancer cells. The same study of delta-9-THC in mouse models of liver cancer showed that it had antitumor effects. Delta-9-THC has been shown to cause these effects by acting on molecules that may also be found in non-small cell lung cancer cells and breast cancer cells.
