The good, the bad, and the ugly of quarantine. I am curious as to what you are missing the most? Is it going out, or something as simple as hugging your friends and family?

With the stay at home order extended until May 28th, we have even more alone time to fill. I am thankful I am still able to come to the radio station everyday. Chris Monroe has been broadcasting from home for 50 days. I did one show live from home, and did not like it . I like coming into work, plus it gives my boyfriend Nick a break from me. You may find this hard to believe, but I think I get on his nerves sometimes, weird.

Not eveyone has the luxury of still going into work, or even working at all rightn now. That sucks enough, and the fact that we can't go anywhere other than a essential places, makes most of us all stir crazy.

I miss concerts at the Machine Shop, I miss going out to dinner, I miss having drinks with friends. Things I basically took for granted, until I could not longer do them. Thankfully I can get take out, but having a Zoom happy hour is certainly not as fun as the real thing, at least for me anyway.

Small sacrifices indeed, but still things I miss. One silver lining during quarantine for me, is the fact that I am an adult. Thre is no way I would want to be a kid in quarantine. I can binge watch whatever I want, I can eat whatever I want, and every hour can be cocktail hour if you want it to be. That is what you call looking at the bright side.
