The annual Swartz Creek Hometown Days festival happens Thursday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 6th. Believe me when I tell you, there is something for everyone at Hometown Days. For me it's the Friday night Wine & Beer Tasting, and on Saturday night it's Ironsnake and Avalon Black performing in the Entertainment Tent.

The Wine & Beer Tasting will be hosted by Barley & Vine with live music from Devyn Mitchell Music. This event will feature unique wines and beer for your sampling from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Entertainment Tent. Your drink and or sample tickets can be purchased the day of the event according to the event Facebook page. Be sure to follow the page for any additional updates.

I just recently heard about Barley & Vine. I am anxious to check out the restaurant in person. Barley & Vine is a casual, neighborhood hangout that specializes in locally sourced and locally crafted charcuterie, wine and beer as well as regional and international favorites. They also offer live music, trivia nights, and as a matter of fact Barley & Vine will be celebrating their one year anniversary on Saturday, June 19th with an on site celebration from noon until 11:00 PM.
