Stephen Colbert to Guest on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ April 22

Where last year we were watching David Letterman and Jay Leno still battling it out for late-night ratings, the future looks very different now that 'The Colbert Report' star Stephen Colbert has officially been announced as Letterman's replacement, to compete with the already-installed 'Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon. While plenty of questions remain, Colbert himself will drop by Letterman's 'Late Show' next week to shed a little light on the future.

Let's be honest: the last two 'Die Hard' movies were almost unwatchable. There's little Fox could do to get us excited for a 'Die Hard 6' at this point, but what little there is to do, they're at least trying to do. Cold Wintery Weather Won’t Go Away

Well it finally happened. It is official the old record amount 82.9 inches, set in the 1974-75 season for snowfall has been broken. According to the National Weather Service in Flint at 2 a.m. Tuesday, eight-tenths of an inch fell in Flint, pushing the seasonal total to 83.4 inches.

‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive Critical to LICA

The Lapeer Interfaith Community Association (LICA) is counting on the letter carriers' Stamp Out Hunger food drive to help fill the pantry shelves that have been depleted from the high demand.The food drive is scheduled for May 10th and donations can be be left in a bag by your mailbox and will be collected by your letter carrier when your mail is delivered. The LICA is hoping it is going to be enough. Ann Pfeifle, chairperson for LICA says, "We are absolutely snowed under with requests for food".
