3rd Annual Michigan Festival of Gourds This Weekend

The 3rd Annual Michigan Festival of Gourds returns to the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds in Imlay City this weekend.
Enjoy workshops & seminars, along with live music, children's activities and much more.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation for research and programs at the pediatric cystic fibrosis center.
Classes will be offered in carving, growing, finishing, weaving and more including children's make-and-take crafts.
Daily demonstrations include everything from brewing beer in a gourd to cooking with gourds.

A special tribute to local farmers and the region on Saturday evening at 6:30, with a Harvest Dinner . Tickets are $16 per person and are available by calling 724-6135.
Festival of the Gourd runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults while children 12 and under are free.
