Alice Cooper And Other Stars Golfing For Charity
Alice Cooper, Smokey Robinson, and Michael Bolton are spending time this week golfing for a cause. They're among the stars taking part in the Humana Challenge, the charity golf tournament previously known as the Bob Hope Classic. Other stars taking part in the event include actors Morgan Freeman, Craig T. Nelson, and Don Cheadle, as well as basketball legend Julius "Dr. J" Irving, comedian Tom Dressen, and actors Lucas Black and Billy Crudup.
Cooper and Dreesen are longtime supporters of the event. This year marks Alice's 14th tournament over the past 15 years. The benefit event raises money for a variety of organizations serving California's Coachella Valley.
The tournament runs through Sunday. The Golf Channel will provide coverage of the event.
