Starting at 10:10 pm on Friday and finishing approximately 25 minutes later, 33-year-old Nik Wallenda completed a death-defying stunt that left everyone in attendance in awe. The daredevil aerialist balanced his way across Niagra Falls on a tight rope, becoming the first man to perform this feat.
We’ve known for a while now that a zombie attack would soon be upon us. How we could not? There have simply been way too many signs — Bill Clinton openly partying with porn stars instead of in the privacy of his own home (just kidding, there’s no proof… yet), women are taking naked strolls through stores, and, probably the biggest hint of them all, the Hannibal Lecter-style Florida zombie attack.
Lana Del Rey thought she performed two songs from her new album back when she was the musical guest on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ According to her fans, however, it sounded instead like she “clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem” (totally not our words). But guess what? Del Rey (as impersonated by Kristen Wiig on ‘Weekend Update’) knows this and she’s sorry.
‘Family Guy‘s’ Lois Griffin is a whole lotta woman. She always stands by her man — even when he’s jumping off the roof in a shopping cart — she keeps the family sane, and she’s the one person Quagmire would give up his deviant ways for. Now, with all that said, picture how this character would look in real life.
Whenever we hear the phrase, “To infinity and beyond,” we automatically think of Buzz Lightyear, that brave little action figure from the ‘Toy Story‘ movies with the heart of gold. Now, thanks to the creativity of 3D artist Raoni Nery from Brazil, we have something a little bit more realistic to look up to.
Meg Griffin from ‘Family Guy‘ seems almost too unreal. Scratch that, she seems almost too easy to pick on. Her dad, Peter Griffin, points this out every episode by making fun of her hat, clothes, personality… pretty much everything. Now it seems as though the girl we all love to hate might be based in reality.
The 2012 Oscars are just around the corner. It’s our favorite time of year when the really hardcore movie fans throw parties and get aggravated when all their guests aren’t paying close attention. Well, start getting pumped ’cause the Oscar nominations have been released. Check ‘em out below.
A recent study claims that a lot of Americans aren't getting into the holiday spirit. Well, if that's true, then we think we've found the solution — cute dogs in holiday costumes! They're fun to look at and an excellent source of inspiration for dressing up your own puppies.
Why did the average American go online? For no particular reason (Ba-dum-bum).
Although this may not become the newest joke anytime soon, it’s actually a true statement. According to a new report from the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project, 53 percent of 18- to 29-year-old Americans go online just for fun or to waste time. With 2,260 participating adults, it turns out that 58 percent of all adults go online for the same reason.
