Icy roads gave Detroit Tiger's third baseman a bit of a scare this morning -- according to the Detroit Free Press, Inge was involved in a six-car pile up just west of Ann Arbor, Mich. -- no one was injured.
According to WEYI NBC 25 a small twin-engine aircraft crashed at Bishop International Airport this morning around 9:40 AM. The plane was traveling for St. Petersburg, Fla., to a unknown location in Wisconsin. Find out more after the jump.

The Northern Lights -- also know as, aurora borealis -- made a rare appearance last night (October 24th,) reaching as far south as Georgia. The reason the lights made their appearance so far south was due to the solar wind that reached much farther south than usual.
There were reported sightings coming in from Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas as well as other places.

A World War II fighter plane crashed at a popular Air Race in Reno, Nevada, reports the Chicago Tribune -- injuring more than 75 people and at least three were killed. The plane crashed into the stands at the National Championship Air Races at about 4:30 p.m.
According to the Chicago Tribune; the plane involved in the crash was Galloping Ghost, No. 177, flown by Jimmy Leeward, a real estate developer from Ocala, Florida. Watch the video of the crash and find out more after the jump.
Have you ever been using Google Maps and wondered how they get all those images of different addresses? You may have seen the Google van driving around your neighborhood or near the place you work -- yep, that's the van taking photo footage of the area.
While taking this footage of your town, the Google van has picked up some oddities you wouldn't believe. Recently while in Miami, Fla., they caught a naked lady on her front porch holding nothing but a jug (image above.) Find what else Google has found over the years.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Reebok made NFL players custom gloves and shoes to be worn on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, but this could be a fineable offense by the NFL if players choose to wear the gear. The NFL once fined Peyton Manning when he chose to break the NFL's strict uniform code -- if they adhere to this strict code, there could be multiple fines in the league.
