Some very lucky young music students are about to receive a helping hand from an impressive array of rock's biggest names.

It's all happening in Las Vegas on Dec. 5, when the Orleans Arena is scheduled to host the Fundraiser to Benefit the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy. And while all-star benefit shows are nothing new, this one has a twist: Rather than lining up a bunch of groups, the organizers hired just one -- the '80s and '90s cover band Hairball -- to play behind a long list of famous singers that includes all four members of Kiss, Alice Cooper, Vince Neil, Dee Snider, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Tom Keifer of Cinderella and others.

How did one nonprofit organization get so lucky? Simple: by aiding a cause that's near and dear to most musicians' hearts. As outlined by its website, the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy's mission statement is, "[Offering] children of the Boys and Girls Club a unique opportunity to not only learn about musical instruments, but to also grow and gain confidence by performing and working in groups." The organization's appeal is summed up succinctly by Cooper, whose site testimonial reads, "You have to start somewhere and this is the place where it starts. I wish we had this when I was a kid."

Tickets are on sale now, with prices ranging from $100 for reserved seating to $50,000 for the front-row VIP package (which has already sold out). For more information, visit the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy website.
