Butterflies,Herbs,Canoes And More At Seven Ponds

We’ve got some lovely weather this weekend, get outdoors if you can and have some fun with Mother Nature at Seven Ponds Nature Center in Dryden. On the summer schedule this weekend canoeing, herbs and butterflies.

First up is Curious Canoers on Saturday, August 9, 10:00 am. The morning is one of the best times to go in search of shoreline wildlife. Take a midsummer paddle around the beautiful ponds. Limited to eight canoes. Pre-registration is required for the limited spaces. Minimum age 5 years to ride, 10 years to paddle. Fee: $5.00 (members $2.00).

On Sunday August 10, at 2:00 pm take part in the Herb & Butterfly Garden Tours. Seven Ponds has the loveliest cultivated gardens totally maintained by volunteer gardeners. This is a walk suited for those who cannot venture too far from the center.
