Classic Rockers Doing it for Charity

Some old work horses have formed a band together for a great cause. Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Iron Maiden’s Nicko McBrain, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted and former Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, among others, will release their first single as WHOCARES next month. They recorded two new songs to support the rebuilding of a music school in Armenia. “Out of My Mind” and “Holy Water” will be available as a digital download and CD single on May 6th. Keep up with Gillan for more info and developments.
