Elvis Week 2011 officially begins today in Memphis.  The annual event gets under way tonight with "Club Elvis" at the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum in Graceland Plaza. A DJ will be on hand spinning Elvis hits as fans gather to chat, listen, and dance.  The Midnight Southern Breakfast follows at the Chrome Grille Restaurant.  Other scheduled events over the course of the week include the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, the Elvis Presley Fan Appreciation Reception, and the Graceland Trivia Tour.  Fans can also participate in the Elvis Presley 5K Run, Walk, Rock & Roll charity event supporting United Cerebral Palsy of the Mid-South.  Special movie screenings and concerts are also scheduled, along with seminars featuring members of Elvis' inner circle.  The annual Candlelight Vigil, which takes place on the eve of the anniversary of Elvis' death, will cap off the week.  Elvis Week commemorates Presley's passing.  Elvis died on August 16th, 1977, at the age of 42.
