If you’re at least 13 years old The Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library on West Nepessing Street in Lapeer invites you to join them in celebrating Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a movie along with fun related activities on Thursday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m. You’ll see a (PG-13) movie that’s a love-hate comedy based upon the Shakespeare play, "The Taming of the Shrew."

In keeping with the love/hate theme of the movie, there will be activities whether you love or hate Valentine’s Day. If you hate Valentine’s Day, come smash conversation hearts after the movie. If you love the holiday, come create poetry out of your conversation hearts. Can’t decide whether you like or loathe the holiday? Come do both activities after the movie.

This is a free program but sign up is required as space is limited. To sign up for this program or for more information, contact the fiction desk at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library at 810-664-6971 or library.lapeer.org.
