General Motors is investing $1 Billion in the United States, and that will mean almost 500 new jobs coming to Michigan.

The overall plan involves multiple projects that will be announced throughout the year, but the Michigan plan has been solidified.

GM will move production of axles for full size pick up trucks from Mexico to Michigan.  This will create around 450 new jobs for Michigan workers.

The investment is projected to bring 7,000 new jobs to the states according to GM's tweet earlier today.

Despite the good news, the company is catching flack from people saying that they are only doing this to butter up to Trump.  I personally could care less about the motivation, the new jobs are much needed in Michigan, and will provide a chance for many workers.
