The idea behind Country Music Television's 'Crossroads' is very interesting. The show takes two artists from different genres of music, and blends them into new versions of their songs. The one episode that comes to mind for me is the one that featured Faith Hill and The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde. Another one that might be worth catching is the upcoming episode featuring Joe Walsh of The Eagles. Details after the jump.

This episode, called CMT's  'Crossroads: Joe Walsh and Friends',  will premiere on CMT on June 23 at 11pm. Mr. Walsh will perform with Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. Song selections will include 'Life's Been Good' and 'Life In The Fast Lane'.

'Analog Man', Joe's first solo studio album in 20 years, will be in stores on June 5.
