Johnny Winter Is Still Alive And Well

One of the great rock/blues guitarists Johnny Winter is finally getting some much deserved attention. Johnny has been at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, where a documentary focusing on his life “Johnny Winter: Down and Dirty” premiered.

Coming out this summer is a sequel to Johnny’s 2011 vintage blues album “Roots”. The collection features appearances by Joe Perry, Billy Gibbons, Eric Clapton and other great rock musicians teaming up with Johnny.
