Sally Wallace, a veterinarian with Animal Medical Center in Lapeer was questioned at a preliminary hearing on Friday and told the court that both of the dogs involved in the fatal attack against Craig Sytsma, were brought into the clinic in April wearing muzzles, and both dogs tried to bite her and other staff.

She advised the owners to take them to an animal behaviouralist. Their chart designated them ad "DWB" - meaning "Dog Will Bite". The dogs were euthanized following the attack and the owners, Sebastiano Quagliata and Valbona Lucja, are facing second degree murder charges, which could send them to jail for life.

They will return to court August 29th.
