M-24 Detour

Project :

Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is continuing work on M-24 (Lapeer Road). Beginning July 7, crews will close M-24 at Farmers Creek Road for bridge replacement and installation of a pedestrian tunnel. This project may include night work.

Traffic Restrictions :

M-24 construction remains under way, with one lane closed in each direction. Access to businesses will be maintained during this work (left turns will continue to be prohibited except at traffic signals). Traffic will be detoured via Demille Road, Saginaw Street, and Genesee Street.
