You'll have to stay up extra late to catch Metallica for an entire week on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' next month. Or just set the DVR.

Metallica announced they will be joining departing late night host Craig Ferguson for a week of performances beginning Monday, November 17th. On their website, the band wrote they "excited to celebrate Craig Ferguson's final season on CBS, as he has personally invited us to join him" and "on the first night, we'll sit down to chat with Craig about all things 'Tallica."

The group is also telling members of its official fan club on how to be a guest in the studio audience during the filming of the shows in L.A. Metallica will also promote the Blu-Ray release of their 2004 documentary 'Some Kind of Monster' on November 24th and talk about what they are planning to do for Record Store Day on November 28th. You can find out more about that here.
