Michigan State Police Captain Chris Kelenske stated during a meeting with the Flint Water Interagency Coordinating Committee that non-residents of Flint are taking bottled water from the nine distribution sites in the city.

The MSP captain that is responsible for overseeing Michigan's response to the Flint Water Crisis says that it is time to re-evaluate with the city and says he has evidence that proves non-residents are taking bottled water from the distribution sites. The state of Michigan has placed these nine distribution sites for residents of Flint to receive free bottled water and filters.

Although the future of these distribution sites has not been determined, Flint residents are being asked to provide identification to prove they are indeed a resident of the city of Flint before receiving free bottled water and filters. Since the water crisis more than 6 million bottles of water have been distributed throughout the city.
