New Beatles Documentary

The Beatles' first U.S. concert was a 12-song set at the Washington Coliseum on February 11, 1964 before a crowd of over 8,000. The performance was shot with an eight-camera crew and shown one month later via closed-circuit broadcast in movie theaters across America. Then the film evidently disappeared until it was uncovered last year. Now a new documentary featuring recently-discovered footage will be premiered in New York City next month. "The Beatles: The Lost Concert" not only includes footage of the entire 25-minute concert in Washington, D.C. just two days after the band's  first "Ed Sullivan Show" appearance, but also new interviews with Chuck Berry, Steven Tyler and others. After the May 6th NYC premiere, "The Beatles: The Lost Concert" will be shown in 450 theaters nationwide beginning May 17th.
