Whenever you think that Planet Earth is a horrible place and there is no good left in the world, remember Profile School's graduating class of 2015. This is one of the most heart-warming stories I've come across in a while.

Courtney Vashaw, the principal at Profile School in Bethlehem, PA, teaches her students compassion and caring for one another. Her acts of kindness through the years has come back around like karma always does.

Although she is a private person, she had to let her students know why she would be out of school for an extended period of time. That reason? An aggressive form of cancer. Without her knowledge, the senior class took a vote and decided unanimously to skip their senior class trip, and donate all of their class funds, nearly $8,000!

I'm so proud of this remarkable group of kids, and overjoyed to know that these students represent our future.
