Sting took the stage for a special performance at a NY Advertising Week function on Sept. 27, performing a handful of songs from his upcoming 57th & 9th LP.

Billboard reports that the set list for the show, which was delivered for an audience of "international advertising execs," included lead-off 57th & 9th single "I Can't Stop Thinking About You" and album track "50,000" — as well as another track, "Petrol Head," which you can check out above.

"Sometimes my role is not to write about myself but to step into someone else’s shoes," he's quoted as saying before performing "Petrol Head." "This one’s about a truck driver who’s obsessed with sex and religion. Only one of those things applies to me."

Due Nov. 11, 57th & 9th marks Sting's return to traditional rock songform after spending much of the past 15 years focusing on other projects, including an album of lute music, a traditional Christmas LP and a stage show. "It’s rockier than anything I’ve done in a while," he said earlier this year of the new release. "This record is a sort of omnibus of everything that I do, but the flagship seems to be this energetic thing. I’m very happy to put up the mast and see how it goes."

Prior to the release of the new album, which is available for pre-order now, Sting will also put out The Studio Collection, an 11-LP vinyl box collecting his previous solo works. Check out the 57th & 9th track listing below.
