Traffic

A woman wearing little more than her troubles created a traffic snarl in a Pittsburgh suburb last week. Police in Monongahela, Pa. say that the woman parked her car along the town’s West Main Street and emerged from the vehicle topless.

The last album that Traffic made came in 1974 under the title When The Eagle Flies.  It wasn't their biggest or best but still got significant airplay, especially Walking In The Wind, which is today's track.  (They did make another one during the 1990's but I always considered it a Winwood solo album)...

The band Traffic had a hand full of hits, mostly in their native England.  They did, however, make a mark here in the states with their debut in 1967, 'Mr. Fantasy' and 1971's blockbuster 'Low Spark of High Heeled Boys', which I think may have been their peak...

Today's track will come from the under rated Traffic album "When The Eagle Flies" from 1974.  It was the last true album from the classic Traffic line-up, and a good one.  Let's check out "Walking In The Wind" around 5:20 or so this afternoon...
