Tigers Prepare For A Cold Opener Today

The Detroit Tigers start the new season this afternoon in Minnesota. Minneapolis weather forecast calls for a high of 35 degrees and a low of 25 for Opening Day in the Twin Cities.

Justin Verlander will be on the mound. This will be Justin's sixth straight Opening Day start, and he is still looking for his first Game 1 victory. He threw eight shutout innings against Boston last year and got a no-decision.
