While I was working last night I got a text about a "Severe Thunderstorm Warning" for Genesee County. I called my wife to have her and the kids ready to head to the basement because we don't usually get nasty weather at this time of year, and I had a bad feeling about it. My wife sent me that picture right there --->, and I thought it was a picture taken back in January because of all the white stuff on the ground.

I was in Davison at the time DJing and I remember thinking, "Hmm... this setup doesn't have strobe lights!" We never lost power at my Davison venue, but my wife reported that we lost power for about two minutes and our internet and TV service was down until late this afternoon.

I drove around my neighborhood today to evaluate the damage and was amazed at what I saw. However, just down the road there are a lot of people with no power and a lot of storm damage. My question is... Should that have been a "Severe Thunderstorm Warning" or a "Tornado Warning?" Take a look at the video from within a mile of my house hand tell me what you think in the comments section below. ("Thunderstorm" my ass...)
